This policy explains what ProductToReel collects and why. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service.
What we collect
- Product inputs: the links, photos and text you submit, the product information extracted from those pages, the storyboards generated from them, and the videos when rendering opens.
- Account data: your email address, sign-in codes (short-lived), session cookies, credit balance and order history.
- Abuse-prevention data: a salted hash of your IP address (we do not store the address itself), request timestamps and Cloudflare Turnstile results.
- Payment data: when rendering and purchases open, this will be handled entirely by Creem, our merchant of record: we will receive an order id, the pack bought and your email — never card details.
How we use it
To extract products and write scripts, and — once rendering opens — render videos; to sign you in and keep your account; to prevent abuse and enforce our terms; to send transactional emails (sign-in codes, order receipts). We do not sell personal data and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Processors
Used today: Railway (hosting, EU/US), Cloudflare (object storage, bot protection), Anthropic (script writing), Creem (content moderation) and Resend (email). Muapi.ai (video and voice generation) and Creem's payment processing apply once rendering and checkout open. Each receives only what its function needs: for example, Anthropic receives product text, Muapi receives product photos and scripts, Creem receives the text you submit for screening.
Retention
Anonymous storyboards: 24 hours. When rendering opens: free preview videos will be kept for 30 days and paid videos for 90 days. Source clips will be kept for 7 days. Abuse logs: 7–30 days. Account and order records: while your account exists, then as required by tax law for orders. When your account is deleted, your storyboards, videos and personal data are removed from our systems within 30 days.
Cookies
We set a session cookie when you sign in and Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies to tell humans from bots. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, export or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@producttoreel.com from the address on your account. We answer within 30 days, usually within two business days. EU/UK residents have the rights set out in the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
