Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ProductToReel (the "Service"), a web tool that generates short vertical marketing videos from product pages and photos you provide. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

You submit a product page link or photos with a description. The Service extracts product information, writes scripts and, when you render, produces videos using third-party AI models. Outputs are generated by AI and may contain mistakes; review every video before publishing it. The Service is an independent product built on third-party AI models for video, voice and text generation; it is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by the creators of those models.

2. Accounts

Accounts are created with a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person is expected to hold one account, and the free preview is limited to one per person.

3. Credits and payments

Storyboards and one 10-second preview per person, animated from your photos, are free. Other videos, and the looks of Product in hand and Hands only, are paid for with credits bought in one-time packs; prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars, plus VAT or sales tax where applicable. ProductToReel is the seller. Payments are processed by Whop (whop.com), our payment processor, which collects and remits sales tax or VAT where it applies in the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom and sends your receipt; we never receive your card details. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Failed renders never consume credits. An AI avatar of yourself costs 2 credits to set up. Refunds are described in our refund policy.

4. Your content and rights

You must own or hold the rights to the product pages, photos, names and claims you submit, and you grant us a licence to process them to provide the Service. You own the videos we generate for you, to the extent permitted by the licences of the AI models involved, and may use them commercially. We do not claim rights in your products or videos, and we do not use your content to train models.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to generate NSFW, explicit or sexually suggestive content of any kind, or anything else our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits — including products or content that are illegal, or that fall into these categories: sexual or pornographic content; firearms, ammunition, explosives and other controlled weapons; illegal drugs; gambling services such as casinos and bookmakers; counterfeit or replica goods; deepfakes and face-swapping: videos of a real person made without their consent, or made to deceive; photos of people without the permission of everyone shown, of public figures, or with a child as the subject; impersonation of real people or use of their likeness without permission; violent, hateful or otherwise harmful content; content that infringes trademarks or copyrights; or claims that are false, misleading, or promise medical, financial or guaranteed results. For digital products made through our Whop app or admin tools, only the bans on sexual content, minors, impersonation and real people's likeness, harmful content and infringing content apply; what the ad shows and claims, getting it approved by ad platforms such as Meta and TikTok, and following the law where you advertise are your responsibility. Text you submit is screened automatically before generation and may be declined. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. AI-generated content

Videos are synthetic media produced from your inputs. Every video we deliver is marked as AI-generated in machine-readable form, with C2PA Content Credentials embedded in the file. Platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube may require you to label AI-generated content; you are responsible for complying with their rules and with advertising law in your market, including the accuracy of every claim in a video.

If you choose a video format with an AI presenter, the presenter is synthetic: an AI-generated person from our stock library, not a real one, and not a customer of yours. The scripts we write have the presenter speak for your brand, never as a customer. You are responsible for what your videos say, words you write or ask for included: every statement about the product must be true and typical of what your customers get, and you must not present a presenter as a real person or as a real customer, user, reviewer or expert, publish a presenter video as a customer review or rating, or use one to claim results. Where a platform requires it, disclose that the video is AI-generated, for example with TikTok's AI-generated content label or disclaimer; every export keeps its C2PA Content Credentials. Complying with the advertising law of each market where you run a video is your responsibility. Presenters are not available for, and presenter videos must not advertise, health products and supplements, cosmetic results, weight loss, finance and crypto, gambling, alcohol or adult products.

If you choose Product in hand, the product the presenter holds is an AI depiction made from your product photo; the label and small print are shown from your real photo in the product shots. You are responsible for it matching your real product in your ads. You must not use it where a platform requires real photos of the product, or present it as a customer's demonstration of the product or of its results.

If you choose Hands only, the hands, the narrator's voice and the product in the hands are AI-generated: the product is an AI depiction made from your product photo and may differ from it in small details, while its label and small print are shown from your real photo in the product shots. Check every video before you publish it; you are responsible for the product matching your real one in your ads. You must not use it where a platform requires real footage or photos of the product, or present it as a customer's demonstration of the product or of its results. The narrator speaks for your brand: never present the voice-over as a real customer, user, reviewer or expert, or use it to claim results. Every export keeps its C2PA Content Credentials, and you disclose AI where a platform requires it. Hands only is not available for the products presenters aren't offered for.

If you make an AI avatar of yourself, it must be your own face: you must be the account holder and 18 or older, and you must never use anyone else's face — a client's, a model's or an employee's — or a public figure's, your own included if you are one. You first sign a separate release, which says what we collect from the clip you record, why and for how long, as our privacy policy does; a person at ProductToReel reviews every avatar before it can be used and may refuse one. Only your account can use your avatar. You can pick it in Presenter + product and Product in hand, and every video with it carries a visible “AI avatar of the seller” label for its whole length, which you must not remove, cover, crop out or contradict; every export keeps its C2PA Content Credentials, and when you publish a video you switch on the platform's AI disclosure where it has one, for example TikTok's AI-generated content label. Your avatar speaks for your shop, as the seller: you are responsible for your ads and for everything your avatar says in them, and you must not present it as a customer, user or reviewer of your product, publish its videos as a customer review, or use them to claim results. It is not available for the products presenters aren't offered for. We delete an avatar when we receive a credible report that it shows someone who did not consent, or a court order to remove it — within 2 business days of a California court's order — and we may freeze an account that abuses the feature.

7. Storage and deletion

Storyboards made without an account are kept for 24 hours. Your videos stay in your account while it exists; free previews are kept for 30 days. Source clips used for re-renders are kept for 7 days after the last video made from them. A look you picked, or one a video was made from, is kept while it stays picked or that video exists; other looks are kept for 30 days. An AI avatar of you is kept until you delete it with “Delete my face” on its page, which takes effect at once, until 12 months after its last use, or until your account is deleted. You can have your account and its data deleted at any time by emailing us from the address on your account; self-service deletion is coming to the account settings.

8. Availability and changes

The Service depends on third-party AI providers and may be paused or changed. We may change prices and features; changes never affect credits you already hold.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and limit our liability to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost advertising spend or revenue.
